Sri Lanka’s central highlands hold many places associated in tradition with the Ramayana, from the Seetha Amman Temple near Nuwara Eliya, linked with Ashok Vatika, to the Hanuman temple at Ramboda.

  1. Day 1Arrive and travel to Kandy

    Sri Muthumariamman Temple in Matale and the misty viewpoints of Riverston.

  3. Day 3To Nuwara Eliya

    Drive through the hill country via the Ramboda Hanuman Temple and tea estates to Nuwara Eliya.

  4. Day 4Seetha Amman Temple

    Darshan at the Seetha Amman Temple and nearby Ramayana sites, with time in Nuwara Eliya.

  5. Day 5Return and departure

    Drive back towards Colombo or Kandy for departure.
