Itinerary

5 Days / 4 Nights plan

  1. Day 1Manali to Jobra drive & trek to Chika (2 hrs drive, 2 hrs trek)

    Drive along 40 hairpin turns to Jobra dam. Trek through pine and maple forests to the alpine meadow of Chika.

  2. Chika to Balu Ka Ghera (Trek5 hrs)

    Gentle climb along the roaring riverbed. Cross cold streams to reach the golden sands of Balu Ka Ghera.

  3. Balu Ka Ghera to Hampta Pass and Shea Goru (Trek8 hrs)

    Big pass day! Steady climb across snow patches to the top of Hampta Pass at 14,035 ft, then descend into the oasis of Shea Goru.

  4. Day 4Shea Goru to Chhatru & Chandratal Lake drive

    Descend to Chhatru on the Spiti highway. Drive to the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake for sunset views.

  5. Day 5Chhatru to Manali via Atal Tunnel

    Drive back to Manali through the iconic Atal Tunnel under Rohtang Pass, ending in Manali by afternoon.
