About this plan

The twelve Jyotirlingas are the most sacred shrines of Lord Shiva, spread across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand.

This 24 day plan groups them by region to keep travel sensible, starting from Mumbai or Hyderabad. Kedarnath is open only in its summer season, which decides when the full circuit can run.

Itinerary

24 Days / 23 Nights plan

  1. Part 1Maharashtra leg

    Trimbakeshwar near Nashik, Grishneshwar near the Ellora caves, and Bhimashankar in the Sahyadri hills.

  2. Part 2Gujarat leg

    Somnath on the Arabian Sea and Nageshwar near Dwarka, with darshan at Dwarkadhish.

  3. Part 3Madhya Pradesh leg

    Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain and Omkareshwar on its island in the Narmada.

  4. Part 4South India leg

    Mallikarjuna at Srisailam and Ramanathaswamy at Rameswaram.

  5. Part 5North and East leg

    Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, Baidyanath in Deoghar, and Kedarnath in the Garhwal Himalaya (summer season only).

  6. Part 6Departure

    Return to Mumbai or Hyderabad. The order of legs is arranged around your dates and the Kedarnath season.
