About this plan

This tour joins the Himalayan foothill towns of Haridwar and Rishikesh with the ancient city of Kashi and the Braj region of Mathura and Vrindavan, the land of Lord Krishna.

  1. Day 1Arrive in Haridwar

    Check in and attend the evening Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

  2. Day 2Haridwar temples

    Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temples by ropeway, and the ashrams of Haridwar.

  3. Day 3Rishikesh

    Ram Jhula, the Ganga riverfront and the evening aarti at Triveni Ghat or Parmarth Niketan.

  4. Day 4Travel to Varanasi

    Travel to Varanasi by train or flight. Evening at leisure.

  5. Day 5Varanasi

    Morning boat ride on the Ganga, Kashi Vishwanath darshan and the evening Ganga aarti.

  6. Day 6Sarnath

    Visit Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon, and the temples of Varanasi.

  7. Day 7Travel to Mathura

    Travel to Mathura. Evening at Vishram Ghat.

  8. Day 8Mathura and Vrindavan

    Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura, then Banke Bihari, ISKCON and Prem Mandir in Vrindavan.

  9. Day 9Departure

    Return towards Haridwar or your onward point as arranged.
